Body Procedures

Offered at the Plastic Surgery Institute of San Francisco are body procedures that contour the frame of a man or woman through cosmetic tummy tucks, arm lifts, thigh lifts, and liposuction which are facilitated by world-renown surgeons in our office’s private operating facility.

Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

A surgical procedure that removes excess fat and skin, resulting in an abdominal profile that is more smooth and firm. The most common reasons that trigger a tummy tuck surgery are due to pregnancy, aging, weight fluctuations, heredity, or prior surgery.  

Liposuction

A surgical procedure that reshapes and contours specific areas of the body that does not respond to diet or exercise. Liposuction serves as a solution to proportion and enhance the body and involves removing excess fat deposits. The ideal candidate for liposuction is within 30% of their ideal weight who have firm, elastic skin and toned muscle.  

Gynecomastia (Male Breast Reduction)

A surgical procedure also known as a male breast reduction. It is a surgical correction for over-developed or enlarged breasts in men. This condition an be characterized by excess fat in the breast area, excess tissue development, or a combination of the two.  

Thigh Lift

A surgical procedure that reduces excess skin and fat around the thigh area, thus reshaping it, resulting in a better-proportioned contour of the lower body and thigh.  

Arm Lift

A surgical procedure that reduces excess skin and often times fat around the arm area, thus reshaping it, resulting in a better-proportioned contour of the upper arm area.
